[In the Dark] a poem

In the darkness you are the most beautiful
and you are more true-
secrets pour out like weeping fountains,

ambitions matter much not, only the next day-
-you are someone else with someone else-
with me, no reason to hide is necessary,

and you’ve found hiding impossible-

[Hopeless] a poem

When you have given up on hope,
become the walking dead,
the break of the flesh fails to alert
that evolution where humanity avoids
pain-

-the day and the night loses polarity,
water, that most precious essential compound,
fails to bring relief,
nothing causes shock appeal,
the worst is expect,
and when it doesn’t presents,
the hopeless only sees not a happy
ending but an ending to come

There is a balance to this life,
one that demands if some are uplifted,
others will fall,
for all the laws that life must obey,
we see everyday that chance is

terrifying.

[Elmira] a poem

Cover your blush as your words of your
past trysts attempt to escape,

tell me over and over again how you enjoyed this,
enjoyed that,

why is it that still your flesh has never been stained,
how almost impossible it was that you escaped that
deviant touch man has given to all womankind-

Now that narrow corridor has lead you to me,
the greatest of the deviants, perhaps the last great
libertine retired from the anonymous exploits and numerous
sorts for you, your lifelong neighbor, your chosen deflowerer.

[This Entrenched Man] a poem

The man I am now is not a perfect man;
there are flaws, depreciation, defects, wounded
Ideals and fears that I have yet to admit are fears-

-but what I have become is what every man becomes
when he looks in the mirror and first realize that
flaws are identification, desirable traits, trash

recycled and given new life, meaning and purpose-
Imperfection has set the foundation for a fragmented

mold that has found a form of love and sacrificed it
for a falsified love-

I’ve solidified this self-destructive, tragic-comic
man entrenched in his own suffering; If suffering
should come, it should be by my very own doing.

[And all the Battles] a poem

If I told you that I’ve waged and lost
the battle of war time and again, would you
think of me as an invalid who refuses to admit
his disadvantages?

Would you see me still eye to eye, lead me to
that moment where I finally am convinced that
everything will still be fine even in defeat?

Would you call me cowardice for only waging wars
that I know I can win? Or will you, with all your
knowledge of falling on your own sword, warn me
that even in victory, the soul still rests few hours
and that my eyes will know many flutters when all
the defeated are resting peacefully?

If I’ve suffered from secondary infection,
it has been a case of sepsis that I’ve somehow
brought into my own bloodstream,
bright fires, flames dancing wildly to

an atmosphere that has gone without a breeze
since the last century; if we breathe, we breathe the
breath of one another, we sustain on our own

self-sufficiency-

battles will wage, will initiate,
by whose aggravation, we know not,
so we fight,
we fight for the same,
so a victory is always inevitable-

[If I Shall Conquer] a poem

Sweet stranger,
lovely baby lady,

do not take offense to the way I look at you-
beauty attracts to preserve the species- in

biological terms, all men spearhead their
charge towards your pulsating cervix phallus

first-

If I do divide and conquer that incendiary
blaze burning bright and furious between your
thighs, know that my annexation is the only
spoils I’ve come to capture,
the rest of you can be given to the rest of
the bandits who’ve attempts will become
futile against our fortifications

My stains are upon you now
and if I should get up, dress and go,
It’s unspoken between us that the next
will never know that you’ve collaborated-

[A Million More Strokes] a poem

It worries me that satisfaction may never find me,
that contention is as good as what will become

-after 31 years, a million words are behind me;
I feel no accomplishment, only a vague hope for a million more, that perhaps, somewhere along my path to that additional million, something inside me will suffice to keep on existing
and all that will be left is this subterranean man
and the shell he inhabits

-it is all human to be labeled something unkind all your life
and to one day begin believing it applies to your identity-

but the alternative;

to live outside of that label
is the great challenge of a man sunken
during sea fare to self perpetually
someday again, I will learn to swim again,

and those levees that have been placed will not give into the tides so easily given life again, I will struggle till the last ounce of inertia, so even in death, I can carry integrity with me

[Atlas Undressed] a poem

Someday, this world will be naked in front of my eyes

and I in front of it,

Beneath my skin crawls adventure

and within my mind,
all the nationalities I’ve cum on flutters with
organic flesh where I’ve left an organic mess

and there is more,
more of my carbon footprint and organic suspense,
concaves of blotted mesh from failing through all the rest
through all the pale, pink and bleak evenings, when I’d stare off into the endless distance and wonder when I will again wander.

[What Aftermath Brings] a poem

Things are different in the aftermath of death; the night becomes more appealing, the decrepit trees gather your interest in their slow descent to the earth, the rain has no feeling, it just seems to fall stagnant and light as not to disturb your line of thought that has become nothing more than a black hole, a worn, gaping depth that leads to the same place, nowhere

[Honeytrap] a poem

Baby lady,
static & gravy
I lose all taste of metallic
lips to lips
doubtful one,
silly worrisome fun,
expect that & that only,
missing me only causes me
to miss you,
then moreso are we haunted
by an opened door-

[The Entanglement] a poem

I can live off your smile;
everything of death, departure and loss subsides with the very sight-

-send your hands astray across my body,
deep-throat my shaft until my mushroom-head tickles your tonsils,
revolve around the tip as the moon does this great planet-

-sex is the connect that disconnects us from
 the daze of being hostages to this world;
If we are to be captive, let us be captive in the
mist of our entangled beings, lost forever to this primitive
form of coexistence,
that is sex-

[Case Study] a poem

My dear,
never-mind your flaws and your ugly tendencies,
life is squalid for both the pretty and the defected than meets the eye,
these eyes, about you, about who you are,
the far-fetched vertebrae that collapse even the fighter,
brings the lifelong tenure of the brain to its end.

It’s pretty obvious that pretty petty little mechanisms,
constructed to illustrate one’s idea of strength, i
s as ephemeral as the true touch
that humanity tends to be selfish with.

[Be Elsewhere For The Moment] a poem

It is not your wish to be taken as a whore is taken
 by a paying deviant,
but I cannot restrain that deviant in me
who desires the whore in you-

-so for the moment,
grit your teeth against the fabric of the pillows,
go elsewhere in your mind,
set your body loosely to be manipulated by savaged
hands driven by a savage mind transfixed on that
fantasy that has made you a captive initially-

-a woman you are,
a lady in that regard,
an equal, standing upright too,
tall and strong on this earth,
for this hour,
allow a malleable bend to live below your standard,
if only to please anothers’
